A precarious relationship develops between a Native American warrior and his white captive on the New England frontier. Can the tragic outcome be prevented? A re-framing of the legend of Hannah Duston- incorporating a dual point of view: seen through the lens of Abenaki legend and Cotton Mather's Magnalia Christi Americana.
